I don't like games where you completely build your ship out of blocks like in space engineers. I don't mind multiplayer games, as long as I can control the capital ships all on my own (so games like Star Citizen are out) and as long as they don't require me do devote my live to getting good at them (so Eve is out too.) By that I mean games like the X series that are more about empire management than about commanding a single capital space ship or space RTS's games that are about building and commanding a whole fleet/empire (games like: Homeworld, Sins of a solar Empire etc.) I am not saying that the game can't have other aspects, they just should not be the primary focus of the game. So I am not talking about games that are primarily about other things that also allow you to command capital ship. Something like the old Star Trek Bridge Commander or Dreadnought or Rebel galaxy. I am talking about games where you primarily control and command a single capital space ship. I am looking for games where you command / control a capital space ship. I love space games a much as the next sci-fi fan but I have to say I am absolutely saturated with space games where you fly a small star fighter size craft. TL, DR: I am looking for space games where you command a capital space ship. r/lowendgaming - Game suggestions for yesterday's hardware This includes key resellersįor more information about these rules click here This includes referral links.ĭon't enable, encourage, or link to piracy. Everyone asking a question just wants advice. But now a new problem arised: when I exit the game, the resolution I set in the graphics settings carry over to the entire computers display settings and I have to manually change my desktops resolution back to 1080p every single time.To give and get advice on games, gaming equipment, consoles, hardware, software, board games, gaming books, paraphernalia- anything gaming related.ĭon't bash what people want suggestions on - just point them in the right direction and be helpful. When I eventually found the spot of the screen to click on the graphics settings, I found the ingame fullscreen option that actually worked this time. after trying to mess around with the displaysettings file, I realised that I CAN use the mouse to navigate the settings in game after-all, but the reason I didn't figure this out before is because the game seems to think that I'm in fullscreen when I'm not (even if the fullscreen setting in the ini file is set to "false") and so I have to move the mouse into some really weird spots on the screen for it to highlight an option rather than hovering directly over the option like you should expect a game to work. But when I went into the game, it still wasn't in fullscreen. I will be extremely thankful if anyone can help me put the game into fullscreen.Įdit: I figured out that by going to the displaysettings.ini file in the games folder "/home/user/GOG Games/Psychonauts/game/displaysettings.ini" I can set fullscreen to "true". I know on Windows 10 you can usually press ALT>ENTER to make a game go into fullscreen borderless mode but that doesn't work and I can't find any information about this online. I'm still fairly new to Linux overall and still have lots of trouble with things that don't seem to be well documented online. I have attached a screenshot of how the game appears on my screen there's no maximise button on the top right of the window and I can't see if there is a fullscreen toggle in the settings of the pause menu because for some reason I can't navigate the settings menu with my keyboard (is that normal?) I just got the game and downloaded it on Linux Mint and I can't get it to be in full-screen.
